"journey, journey" 2006/07 Barytprints on aluminium .
The starting point for this work was a train journey which the artist made from Vienna
to graz. Using black cardboard, to recreated from memory individual buildings which he
noticed on route and then photographed.
Koslitsch s technique is to process his personal impressions within a photopgraphic model.
Through a process of transformation, aspects of the journey and of recollection are
reduced to archetypal architectural forms.......
